LightScribe Software Installation for Mac OS X 10.4.0 and 10.3.9

To use LightScribe drive on Mac computer, you must install LightScribe System Software (LSS) and LightScribe Simple Labeler.

Note:

• These Lightscribe drivers and softwares are not compatible with OS X El Capitan 10.11 or later
• For Windows users, please read here

Step 1:
Install Lightscribe System Software:
Download and extract Lightscribe System Software (LSS) v1.18.27.10. Follow the screen directions to complete installation.

Step 2:
Install Lightscribe Simple Labeler:

• For Mac OS X 10.4.0 or later, download Lightscribe Simple Labeler for Mac OS X 10.4.0 or later.  
• For Mac OS X 10.3.9, download Lightscribe Simple Labeler for Mac OS X 10.3.9.

Double-click the downloaded file to extract installation file. Double-click the extracted .pkg file and start installation. Once installed, LightScribe Simple Labeler can be found in Applications folder under LightScribe/Simple Labeler.
